Hello and a warm welcome to Little Butterfly Toys, tradional toy gift shop. Little Butterfly Toys is based in the North East of England comprising of a family run team. Our company was set up after the birth of our first child, when it soon became apparent that the majority of toys on the high street were made of plastic and there was a huge lack of traditional, educational, robust wooden toys.

We are very particular about the toys we choose to sell and the majority are fair trade but none fund child labour. All are CE certified, educational and are made with non-toxic paint.  Our toys range from our educational, alphabet and numerical jigsaws, fold and go range to our spinning tops and whizzers, which are just fun to play with.  Above all else our toys are bright, colourful and entertaining which will stimulate the imagination, develop hand to eye coordination and encourage self play.  Not to mention nostalgic for us adults, reminding us of our own childhood before computer games became all the rage.  Whether you are buying something for your own child, niece, nephew or a friends child we have something for everyone and many hours of fun will be spent with whatever you decide to buy.
